About
Who we are
We are a consortium of five international and four local humanitarian organizations working to deliver life-saving assistance to communities affected by drought and conflict in Somalia’s hardest-to-reach areas. Our members include Action Against Hunger, Concern Worldwide, Trócaire, International Medical Corps, and SOS Children’s Villages, alongside local partners Lifeline Gedo, Shabelle Community Development Organization (SHACDO), Youthlink, and Juba Foundation.
Together, we operate on the frontlines of crises, combining our expertise, resources, and networks to respond rapidly and effectively. Our support focuses on food and nutrition assistance, water and sanitation services, and healthcare for vulnerable communities. We also prioritize the protection and empowerment of women and children, who are often most affected during emergencies.
Through this collective effort, we have reached thousands of people in areas with little or no access to basic services. Our commitment is to ensure no one is left behind in times of crisis, and we will continue to provide critical, life-saving interventions to those in need.
