Who we are

We are a consortium of five (international and three local) humanitarian organizations dedicated to providing emergency life-saving interventions to populations affected by drought and conflict in Somalia’s hard-to-reach areas. Our partnership comprises of Action Against Hunger, Concern Worldwide, Trocaire, International Medical Corps, and SOS Children’s Villages. In addition, we work closely with local NGOs such as Juba Foundation, Lifeline Gedo, and Shabelle Community Development Organization (SHACDO) to deliver essential services to those most in need.
Our consortium operates on the frontlines of crises in Somalia, leveraging our collective expertise, resources, and networks to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies. Our interventions include providing food and nutrition assistance, water and sanitation services, healthcare, and shelter to vulnerable communities. We also prioritize the protection and empowerment of women and children, recognizing that they are often the most affected by crises.
Through our collaborative efforts, we have been able to reach thousands of people in Somalia’s hardest-to-reach areas, where access to basic services is limited. We remain committed to working together to ensure that no one is left behind during times of crisis, and we will continue to provide life-saving assistance to those in need.
