Our Governance

The Consortium governance and coordination structures are as follows:

Consortium Steering Committee

The Consortium Steering Committee (CSC) is constituted of the Country Directors and Program Directors of all the Consortium Members and the Consortium Director. It is the advisory body of the Consortium. The CSC provides strategic leadership to the consortium, provides guidance to the Consortium Management Unit (CMU), provides advice and approval of on resource allocation for various interventions, review and approve key project documents, approval of new membership among other functions.

Consortium Management Unit

The Consortium Management Unit (CMU) comprises the Consortium Director, MEAL Coordinator, Finance Lead, Emergency Response Lead, Communications and Advocacy Lead, and Grants and Compliance Lead. The CMU coordinates day-to-day activities of the Consortium, and provides technical guidance to implementation working closely with the Technical Working Groups (TWG). The CMU also act as liaison between the Consortium and Donor(s), lead proposal development, reporting, and specific Project related activities within the Consortium, as well as lead the monitoring of Project implementation to ensure all Projects are on track in time, scope, and budget

Technical Working Groups

The Technical Working Group (TWG) are comprised of nominees from each Consortium Member who have expertise in thematic areas such as Health & Nutrition; Finance; MEAL; and Communications & Advocacy, etc. The thematic areas also have Working Groups (WG) that advice the TWG in their respective areas of expertise. The TWG and the WG meet periodically to review program performance and address emerging issues.
